Job summary

4Recruitment Services is seeking a Head Chef to work at Kingsley Green (WD7). The role runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm under a temp contract that is ongoing.

The position pays £18ph PAYE and involves planning meals, menus and special offers, with overall responsibility for hospital kitchen preparation and cooking. You will ensure meals are nutritious and culturally appropriate, overseeing staff and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Plans meals and menus, theme days and special offers to provide adequate information to customers
• Takes overall responsibility for preparation and cooking food for staff and patients in hospitals.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring that food and drink is nutritious and appetizing, meeting patients' medical and cultural needs (gluten free, low fat, soft food, halal, vegetarian).
• Supervises, trains and ensures company standards are met; directs daily routines and interacts with customers to ensure an exceptional experience.

Job Purpose

• Plans meals and menus, theme days and special offers to provide adequate information to customers
• Takes overall responsibility for preparation and cooking food for staff and patients in hospitals.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring that food and drink is nutritious and appetizing. The food must meet patients' medical and cultural needs including, for example, gluten free, low fat, soft food, halal and vegetarian.
• Supervisors act as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through training employees properly and adhering to company policy.
• Supervises, encourages and supports employees, ensures company standards are met. Directs the employees through their daily routines and interacts with customers to make sure that they have an exceptional experience.
