Head Chef – Argyll & Bute – £50,000 per annum

About you

You’re a seasoned chef with experience in multi-rosette or fine-dining environments. You know how to lead a team, build a kitchen culture centred on quality, and push creative boundaries with every dish. Strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail are second nature to you. If you’ve got a track record of delivering excellence in high-pressure environments and know how to get the best out of a team, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing in this role
  • Overseeing multiple kitchen teams and maintaining 5-star presentation and preparation standards
  • Designing and developing innovative menus using locally sourced Scottish produce
  • Leading training and development initiatives to build a skilled and motivated kitchen brigade
  • Managing food costings and budgets, meeting and exceeding financial targets
  • Ensuring consistency, safety, and quality across all service areas
  • Collaborating with senior management to drive the venue’s culinary reputation forward
  • Maintaining compliance with health and hygiene standards
  • Playing a key role in guest satisfaction and creating memorable dining experiences
