Head Chef – The Albyn

The Albyn are recruiting for apassionate and dedicated Head Chefwith the vision and drive to lead our busy kitchen. We are looking for someone who is a leader, who will inspire their team to work together to create exceptional dining experiences using high-quality, local produce.

As Head Chef, you’ll manage all aspects of the kitchen, working closely with the General Manager and owners to ensure profitability while maintaining the highest standards. Calm under pressure, you’ll lead by example, motivating your team with your passion, professionalism and experience. We want you to continue to develop our brigade of like-minded individuals who care about not only what they are serving, but the environment in which they are working.

Volume is key here, we are a busy operation and there is no time for someone wanting to watch from the side lines. We are hands on, from ownership to operations and being a nice person matters, this is in independent operation, and you will work directly with the owners to grow the business, we want to build a family and want you to be part of it!

Previous Head Chef level experience is essential, ideally within a similar style operation. We highly value enthusiasm, the right attitude (probably the number one criteria!) and a commitment to team development and progressing the business to the next level.
