The Cricketers is seeking an experienced, skilled Head Chef to lead the kitchen team. At Chestnut, we pride ourselves on using fresh, locally sourced food, culinary creativity, and delivering an exceptional culinary experience for our guests.

Job Requirements

  • Design and develop seasonal menus that reflect creativity and align with Chestnut’s vision.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Ensure every dish meets high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, cost control, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage dry stock effectively.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to cultivate a positive and motivated work environment, ensuring all team members perform to their best abilities.
