Job summary

Greene King’s Chef & Brewer is seeking a Head Chef to keep a busy kitchen running smoothly, empower and support a high‑performing team, and ensure every dish served meets the highest standards.

You’ll lead service, manage hygiene and safety, develop staff, and maintain the warm, welcoming pub dining experience our guests expect from our country pubs. In return you’ll access a competitive salary, pension contribution, work‑life benefits, and extensive training across our brands.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy kitchen in a pub/restaurant environment.
• Strong communication with team and front-of-house.
• Proficient in kitchen hygiene and safety practices.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

• Skill and willingness to take on and adapt to challenges whilst working in a busy kitchen.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
