The Role

As Head Chef , you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team at Longridge House , ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of all food services. You will oversee all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring consistently exceptional food across the restaurant, weddings, and events.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Opening:
• Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled kitchen team.
• Establish kitchen procedures, food safety standards, and supplier relationships.
• Work alongside senior leadership to position Longridge House as a standout culinary destination .
• Post-Opening:
• Lead the kitchen team in delivering outstanding food across restaurant, weddings, and private events .
• Ensure consistency, quality, and attention to detail in all dishes.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health, and safety .
• Manage stock control, ordering, and food cost efficiency .
• Foster a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

About You

• Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-quality restaurant, hotel, or events venue .
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• A hands-on approach with a keen eye for detail and consistency .
