Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Head Chef to join our team at Leeds Trinity University, Horsforth, Leeds, LS18 5HD.

You will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, ensuring cost efficiency, and producing innovative, high-quality menus within budget to boost sales.

A day in the life of a Head Chef
  • Train and lead culinary staff in standard food production techniques, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Handle ordering, menu planning, stock management, and P&L responsibilities.
  • Maintain staff records, including training, performance, and shift checklists. Computer literacy is essential.
  • Identify training needs and conduct relevant training sessions.
  • Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage team schedules and empower staff to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, waste management, and supply chain protocols.
Ideal candidate profile
  • Relevant culinary qualifications.
