About the role:

As Head Chef of the Kitchen team at 11 Cadogan Gardens & The Chelsea Townhouse — the only Relais and Chateaux properties in London — you are the reason our guests keep returning. Our chefs work as part of a team to impress our guests, creating unforgettable experiences and exceeding expectations from breakfast through dinner to ensure every guest wants to return.

What will you be doing?

You will be a natural leader able to handle the pressures of managing a busy operation in the kitchens of 11 Cadogan Gardens Hans' Bar And Grill and The Chelsea Townhouse's Drawing Room. You will lead by example, motivate your team, and strive for quality and perfection in every dish. You should be confident in running the overall service and enjoy sharing knowledge and passion for food.

Below are some of the duties and responsibilities of the Head Chef at these properties:

  • Confidently create and design new menus, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and quality, while proactively implementing ongoing product improvement strategies.
  • Focus on guest satisfaction and service, staying updated with market trends and incorporating them into the business when appropriate, enhancing the guest experience.
  • Drive seasonal product initiatives that contribute to the financial performance of the business.
  • Manage the kitchen with integrity, overseeing staff, health & safety, equipment, and other departmental areas.
