Aramark UK is recruiting a Head Chef to join our team at Leeds Trinity University, Horsforth, Leeds, LS18 5HD.

You will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, ensuring cost efficiency, and producing innovative, high-quality menus within budget to enhance sales.

• This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm, with occasional weekends.

A day in the life of a Head Chef

• Lead culinary and kitchen staff, ensuring quality food production and presentation.
• Manage orders, menu planning, stock, and P&L.
• Maintain staff records, training, and performance data; be computer literate.
• Identify and deliver staff training on procedures and equipment.
• Develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Manage team rotas and empower staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards, waste management, menu consistency, and supply chain protocols.

Ideal candidate requirements

• Relevant culinary qualifications.
• Previous Head Chef experience.
• Clean Enhanced DBS.
• Experience in an educational environment preferred.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
