Head Chef - British Pub - Fresh Produce - £40k + Bonus - Hackney

Are you a Kitchen Manager or a Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career? We are looking for a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager who has a great range of experience working in gastro pubs or quick service restaurants to join our team.

We are "HACKNEY'S FAVOURITE PUB & HOTEL". The Old Ship effortlessly delivers old school pub charm with East End cool. Our burgers are infamous, the rotisserie chicken is notorious and the craft beer, real ale and cocktails will satisfy the most discerning of drinkers. Coupled with Live Sport and one of the Sunday lunches in Hackney, the Old Ship has become a must visit when in Hackney.

You Are:

• An enthusiastic, dynamic Chef who is ready for a new challenge.
• Able to demonstrate your experience of working with fresh ingredients and seasonal menus.
• Able to demonstrate experience of working in a professional kitchen showing a clear understanding of Health and Safety.
• Able to show a proven track record of managing the kitchen and controlling stock and GP.
• Able to show technical skill and attention to detail
• Able to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
• Confident in your communication skills and ability to lead and motivate their teams.
• Reliable and take pride in what you do
