Head Chef – Ribble Valley Bistro
Location: Ribble Valley, Lancashire
Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum
Hours: Daytime shifts only – no evenings
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a well-regarded bistro located in the heart of the Ribble Valley.
About the Role:
Lead a small, passionate team in a busy daytime café/bistro setting
Develop and deliver fresh, seasonal menus using locally sourced produce
Take full responsibility for kitchen operations, stock management, health & safety and cost control
Maintain high standards of presentation, quality, and consistency
Enjoy a true work-life balance with straight daytime shifts and no evening work
About You:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous ready to step up
A strong background in fresh food kitchens, ideally within bistro or café-style dining
Passionate about local produce and creating high-quality, simple yet elegant dishes
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A calm, professional approach and a genuine love for cooking
