We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Head Chef to join our team in Cambridge, CB2 0BA, and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in our culinary operations.

About the Role

Lead kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and timely service aligned with Sodexo standards and KPIs.

Uphold compliance with health & safety, financial controls, and procurement procedures while managing costs and documentation.

Motivate and guide the team to deliver excellence, maintain high standards, and ensure a consistent customer experience.

Proactively identify opportunities for service improvements and sales growth within and beyond the current contract.

Maintain clear communication, conduct effective handovers, and actively contribute to team meetings and training.

What We’re Looking For

Senior kitchen leadership experience with food safety Level 3
A proactive, hands-on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable, resilient, and a true team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Experienced in fast-paced kitchen environments with a passion for food and service excellence.
Able to work independently while maintaining high standards and compliance under pressure.
Holds relevant culinary and health & safety qualifications, with a focus on continuous improvement.
