Job Description
We are working on behalf of a prestigious motorsport client to recruit an experienced and hands-on Head Chef to lead all back-of-house operations at one of the UK’s most iconic racing circuits.
This is a unique opportunity to manage the food offering across a variety of outlets—from grab-and-go kiosks to high-end hospitality suites. You will oversee catering services for major race events, conferences, corporate driving days, and seasonal functions including Christmas parties.
This role is ideally suited to a proven Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous Chef looking to take the next step in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily kitchen operations across restaurants, suites, and event catering outlets
Create and implement seasonal, creative menus tailored to diverse audiences
Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and hygiene across all services
Deliver exceptional hospitality for race days, conferences, and VIP experiences
Manage and train a team of kitchen staff to meet high operational standards
Source ingredients from quality suppliers and manage stock efficiently
Monitor kitchen budgets and control costs effectively
Uphold full compliance with food safety and health regulations
Candidate Requirements
Significant experience in a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef role within a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
Strong team leadership and excellent communication skills
A commitment to culinary excellence and guest satisfaction
Proven ability to manage budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships
Excellent time management and ability to remain calm under pressure
Minimum Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene certification
Full UK driving licence (essential due to location)
Willingness to complete a basic DBS check
Candidates currently working as Sous Chefs in large-scale event, venue, or hospitality operations who are ready for their next career move are encouraged to apply.
