This role calls for a chef who can blend maintaining excellent standards, while working efficiently in a fast-paced, trend-setting, client-focused environment.

What you'll do:

• Plan, prepare and present food to required standards
• Ensure the highest standards of food hygiene and health and safety are maintained
• Lead and manage the kitchen
• Bring your ideas to the table and cook up new techniques, create seasonal menus and introduce pop ups and street food concepts
• Maintain food production records
• Hold team meetings and recognise training needs of staff

What you'll bring:

• Proven long term senior position experience in contract catering
• NVQ Qualification or equivalent
• Current advanced food hygiene certificate
• Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks
• Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards
• Good time management
• Excellent team management mentor skills, who leads by example
• Customer focused
• Proficient with Word and Excel
• Financially astute to achieve tight margins and food GP
