Job description

What we're after....

We are looking for a highly skilled, driven and meticulous individual for this position. The role requires a passionate Head Chef, who has the ability and experience to manage a huge volume of business, business that can be unpredictable and challenging with the seasons. This is an exciting opportunity to work with United Restaurant Group, using wonderful produce and all local suppliers Dorset has to offer.

That’s enough about us….. what about you!

  • To be considered for this role, you will have at least 1 year’s experience working in a similar establishment and role. You will be up to date with relevant Health and Safety and Food Hygiene certificates.
  • You will be a service-driven and energetic Head Chef with a passion for excellent service and solid operational experience.
  • You will have a proven track record in people management skills, both with leading by example and training abilities. You will be an excellent communicator with people of all levels. You will be a Manager of a kitchen team, as well as a Head Chef.
  • You will have a strong knowledge and understanding of menu planning, stock control, costing and wage margins.
