Head Chef, B&I, Birmingham City Centre, £36k
We have a great opportunity for a motivational and passionate Head Chef to join the team at this site based in Birmingham City Centre.
The kitchen provides the catering for both staff dining and hospitality. All food produced is fresh and seasonal, based on modern trends and concepts.
In this role, you will be
* Fully responsible for the running of the kitchen and all food produced
* Leading, guiding and motivating a small settled team
* Develop and execute seasonal menus for both fine dining hospitality events and the staff restaurant
* Work alongside the Catering Manager to develop the food offer and business
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
What we are looking for:
* A Head Chef with a proven work history
* Experience within B&I contract catering ideally
* A genuine passion for food, ingredients and customer service
* Financially astute and able to manage a budget and costs
* A strong leader with a proven ability to develop, inspire and motivate a team
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Self-motivation, innovation and flexibility
