Role Overview:

Reporting to the Hotel Operations Manager, you will assist in spearheading the culinary experience for our Apex City of Bath Hotel. You will be accountable for driving our approach in delivering a high-quality, and consistent Conference & Events and Restaurant & Bar Food offering, which is on trend, in Season, cost effective, and always considers your Market’s needs.

Your main place of work will be Apex City of Bath Hotel, with possible regional responsibilities (by exception), and as directed by your Hotel Operations Manager, Hotel Manager or Regional General Manager.

About you:

You will be results driven, and you will work closely with our supply chain partners, in house centralised services, and on property kitchen and front of house teams to continue developing, researching, and implementing appropriate efficiency and quality changes across all service outlets.

You will assist in ensuring delivery of a sustainable and continuous profit growth across all outlets.

As part of the senior management team, this role will involve operational shift coverage across a seven-day week rota.

As Head Chef, you will, together with your Sous Chef ensure the smooth running of the Kitchen team, building and creating a high performing team, team culture and spirit, with a flair for creating a Food Offering which is storytelling, insta-grammable, and delicious. In turn you will be rewarded with a Competitive Salary, with the possibility to earn a 15% non-contractual Performance bonus, based on achieving set KPIs over the Financial year.
