Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Head Cashier to lead cashiers in delivering fast, friendly and accurate service at the checkout lanes. You will supervise, coach and train front-end associates while ensuring policies are followed to minimize shrink.

The position requires 1+ year of cashier experience and strong customer service skills. Comp: $15.00–$16.00 per hour, with opportunities to support various checkout areas including Self-Checkout and Pro Desk.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of cashier experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process Checkout and/or Return transactions.
• Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
• Provide information and identify selling opportunities.
• Escalate customer issues and assist in training other Front End Associates.
• Support Head Cashier with price checks, POS approvals, and markdowns.
