Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and driven professional to lead a new vertical focused on conceptualizing, organizing, and executing exclusive Buyer-Seller Meets and industry events for Fibre2Fashion.com. This individual will be fully accountable for the planning, coordination, client engagement, partner collaboration, and end-to-end execution of quarterly and annual B2B events (physical and virtual).

Key Responsibilities

? Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Own the strategy and execution roadmap for Fibre2Fashion’s Buyer-Seller Events vertical.
  • Define KPIs, business goals, and revenue targets for quarterly and annual events.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, content, and tech teams to align resources and timelines.

? Event Design & Execution

  • Curate high-impact industry events, including buyer-seller meets, sourcing expos, and executive roundtables.
  • Ensure exceptional event quality, seamless logistics, and participant satisfaction.
  • Innovate new formats (virtual, hybrid, themed) tailored to sector-specific demands.

? Client & Partner Engagement

  • Liaise directly with key brands, suppliers, and solution providers to drive participation and sponsorship.
  • Create exclusive matchmaking formats tailored to specific product categories or geographies.
  • Build strategic partnerships with industry associations, trade bodies, and event platforms.
  • Own and manage the P&L of the vertical.
  • Lead budgeting, vendor negotiations, and team hiring as the function scales.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and reporting dashboards for event success measurement.

Desired Profile

? Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B event management, trade fairs, or buyer-seller matchmaking platforms.
  • Strong exposure to the fashion, textile, apparel, or manufacturing ecosystem is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and owning business outcomes.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of event tech platforms, CRM tools, and lead management systems.
