We are looking for a charismatic & experienced Head Bartender to join our team at The Hoxton, Holborn.

The Hoxton, Holborn was the second Hox to join the family, occupying a Grade II-listed building that was once the factory of George Kent, a renowned maker of gadgets and instruments, including a knife sharpener/cleaner now housed in the Science Museum.

After Kent, BT moved in, and now this former telephone exchange is home to 230 bedrooms, the Apartment, and our foodie hotspot Rondo. It is located close to London’s most famous shopping and entertainment districts.

Rondo is our neighborhood restaurant in Holborn, focusing on seasonal local British dishes, unique ingredients, and excellent wine. Led by chef Tristan Downes, it’s the kind of place you wish was at the end of your street.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead the bar team in creating a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests can unwind and enjoy themselves.
2. Be creative and share ideas to develop our menu, innovate our bar concept, and stay ahead of trends.
3. Know your products and systems thoroughly.
4. Lead by example, driving service standards for the best guest experience, and encouraging team growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartender experience with strong wine and cocktail knowledge, ready for a step up.
• A natural people person who is confident behind the bar and excellent with guests.
