Job description

A fantastic opportunity for Head Bartender to join our funky team at The Refuge – Kimpton Clocktower!

You will earn £13.37 per hour – equal to £27,809.60 salary, plus service charge

As a Head Bartender, you enjoy variety and are at your best when being part of a team as well as being passionate about helping your team deliver excellent service to all guests.

To succeed as a Head Bartender, you will need:

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week across 5 shifts (weekend and evening availability is essential)
  • To be passionate about delivering great service with great knowledge of Wines, Beers, Spirits and Cocktails.
  • Excited by getting creative – you will be someone that loves to communicate with our guests to create their perfect drink!
  • Previous supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant as a Head Bartender or similar role. You will lead by example and support to train our bar team.
  • Experience with handling guests queries and complaints.
  • Experience with working with customers in a busy environment.
  • To be willing to learn new things and work as part of a wide hotel team!
