Holmes Hotel London is seeking a Head Bartender to lead our bar team in a 118-bedroom property in Marylebone. You will oversee daily bar operations, craft an appealing drinks menu, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role offers up to £18/hour (TRONC-inclusive) with a range of staff benefits and hotels discounts across Europe. Prior 5-star hotel bar leadership is essential, with a focus on delivering memorable service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Bartender or Head Bartender in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain an innovative drinks menu including cocktails and wines.
• Inspire, coach, and mentor the bar team to foster a positive culture.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and compliance with health, safety, and licensing rules.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly to protect the brand.
• Support collaboration with Restaurant and Bar Manager to uphold standards.

Kitchen at Holmes is an all-day 2 AA Rosette restaurant, neighbourhood bar, and destination for lovers of good food.

An exclusive events venue within Holmes Hotel London, The Residence offers a truly unique and inspiring space to hold meetings, events and special occasions for up to 130 guests.

As our Head Bartender, you will receive:

• Salary: It is anticipated you will receive from £14.82 (minimum contracted rate) to £18 (rate inclusive of TRONC) per hour worked – inclusive of an independently administered TRONC allowance

We are looking for our Head Bartender, who will:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring efficient service, high-quality drink preparation, and an exceptional guest experience.
• Develop and maintain an innovative and appealing drinks menu, including cocktails, wines, and beverages, aligned with customer preferences and business goals.
  
• Inspire, coach, and mentor the bar team, creating a positive and engaging team culture.
• Ensure consistently high levels of customer service and guest satisfaction within the bar area.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant and Bar Manager to ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring quick resolution and maintaining brand reputation.

• Have previous experience working as Senior Bartender, Head Bartender or Bar Supervisor/Team Leaderin the 5-star hotel environment
