Job description

Head and Neck Senior Clinical Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The Maxillo Facial Fellow will undertake general and specialist clinics. They will undertake minor surgery lists under local anaesthesia and assist consultants undertaking major head and neck, orthognathic and TMJ surgery. This is an appointment to cover from Feb 2026-February 2027. Possession of the MBBS, GDC, plus full GMC registration with Licence to Practise at the time of application is essential. The elective work involves daily ward rounds, time-tabled sessions for day case, theatre and outpatient clinics. Whilst it is not a recognised training post, this post is well supervised and there are opportunities to learn and develop skills. This post will participate in the OMF On-call rota. The post will be based at the Royal Derby Hospital.
