Job Title: HE Lecturer - Law

Salary: Starting at £33,352 with progression to £38,651 per annum

Closing Date: 2025-05-14

About the Role

  1. Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, and assessment plans.
  2. Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
  3. Maintain and update knowledge of the subject and/or vocational area.
  4. Adapt curriculum delivery methods to maximise their effectiveness, including through the use of technology.
  5. Apply theoretical understanding of effective practice in teaching, learning, and assessment drawing on research and other evidence.

About You

  • Holds a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE) or willing to undertake and complete this within 2 years.
  • Relevant highest-level vocational qualification or degree in the teaching subject.
  • Recent teaching experience in relevant subject areas, demonstrating active learning and differentiated teaching styles.
  • Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience utilising a range of teaching methods to enhance learner progression.
