Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent professional qualification (or working towards).
• Teaching qualification such as Award in Education & Training, PGCE or Cert Ed.
• Excellent knowledge of government policy context for the curriculum.
• Strong understanding of Ofsted and similar regulators and awarding bodies.
• Excellent teaching and/or pastoral skills with a track record of good student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching in an engaging learning environment.
• Deputise for the Head of School as needed regarding department performance.
• Align FE curriculum with HE curriculum, T-Levels and Apprenticeships to support progression.
• Contribute to planning and delivering a curriculum that meets funding and success targets.
