Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel repair experience on semi-trucks & trailers.
• Valid DL with good driving record.

Position is located in Williston, VT.

Position is primarily Monday-Friday (day shift) but must be available for some after-hours calls.

Road Service Diesel Technician

This is FleetPride's technician who will be able to work on most heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs. This person will be primarily running service calls for the location in a designated company vehicle and will be able to take this vehicle home if arrangements are discussed & approved.

This is what we're looking for:

• 3+ years of diesel repair experience on semi-trucks & trailers.
• Good communication skills with the service manager, service writer and customers about jobs in progress.
• Ability to provide your own tools and box.
• Valid DL with good driving record.
• CDL is a plus, but not required.
• Someone who is driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service.
• Skillful in preventative maintenance, air systems, electrical diagnosis and repairs, starting systems, brakes, wheel ends, coolant systems, some AC diagnostics and repairs, some steering and alignment issues, drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, removing and replacing differentials, after treatment systems, misc. trailer repairs and MORE.
