Hyundai Capital UK Ltd (HCUK) is a joint venture established by Santander Consumer UK (SCUK) and Hyundai Capital Services (HCS) Korea in 2012. It operates under the Hyundai Finance, Kia Finance, and Genesis Finance brands, providing funding solutions for Retailers, Consumers, and Corporations.

What You Will Be Doing
Job Purpose

Reporting to the National Contract Hire Manager, this role focuses on developing incremental Contract Hire sales aligned with HCUK and OEM strategies, both directly and through dealer networks. The role involves promoting HCUK’s Contract Hire products, managing stakeholder relationships, and representing HCUK brands in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Development: Build profitable dealer relationships, ensure product compliance, monitor performance, promote sales, and integrate activities with OEMs and dealers.
  2. Planning: Develop quarterly activity plans with focus areas and dealer action plans, recorded in ‘The HUB’.
  3. Budget Control: Achieve sales targets through ongoing opportunity management.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with dealers, OEMs, SCUK, and internal teams, including Underwriting.
  5. People Development: Share knowledge and develop dealer skills to boost sales and performance.
  6. Business Development: Understand and strategize around Contract Hire channels, support levels, and customer retention.
  7. Competitor Activity: Monitor and report on competitor actions to inform campaigns.
  8. Customer Retention: Support retention initiatives and provide feedback to shape renewal programs.
  9. Risk & Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with legal and regulatory standards, including data protection and fair treatment of customers.
  10. Other Tasks: Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Expertise
  • Experience in leasing, rental, motor finance, or related sales/marketing roles.
  • Proven sales achievement, account management, negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of legal/regulatory issues, data handling, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, business acumen, and confidence with senior management.
Additional Information
  • This is a home-based role requiring travel within the Midlands region.
  • Must possess a full driving license.
