EMED Group in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a HCPC registered Paramedic to join our HDU transfer team. Shifts available 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00, Monday to Sunday.
You will provide patient-focused care, monitor during transfer, and ensure care is aligned with HCPC standards and JRCALC guidelines. Role requires professional conduct and accurate documentation.
This position supports EMED Group’s NHS-aligned patient transport services, emphasising safety, high-quality care, and collaborative teamwork.
We have a fantastic opportunity for bank HCPC registered Paramedic to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent.
The shift patterns available are either 07.00-19.00 and 19.00-07.00 - Monday to Sunday
To provide a patient focused delivery of care, treatment and safe transport for High Dependency patients in a clinically safe and professional environment, utilising enhanced skills and regulated best practice when required to do so, adhering at all times to the policies and standards inherent within EMED Group.
EMED Group are contracted to transfer patients that require a higher level of clinical care than can be supplied by the Patient Transport Service (PTS). This involves the monitoring of patients during their transfer.
All HDU patients for transport will be transferred from a hospital to a care facility for a higher level of treatment. These patients will have been diagnosed by the transferring unit so will just need monitoring during their transfer, with the potential for paramedic interventions if their condition warrants it for continuation of care or if their clinical presentation deteriorates whilst on-route.
