HCM and MIS Provisioning Technical Business Analyst

Reports to: Senior IT and Systems Project Manager

Location: Currently operating hybrid working in our West London Office

Contract: FTC (6 months)

Pattern: Full Time (standard hours 9am – 5.30pm)

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience)

Ark is implementing Midland HR’s iTrent as our new Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll system, replacing Cezanne and integrating with Microsoft Entra and Bromcom. We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the integration of iTrent into Ark’s infrastructure, focusing on provisioning, system decommissioning, and ensuring accurate data flows across systems.

This role will also support the integration between iTrent and Bromcom, ensuring staff records are created accurately and key data is written back to Bromcom to maintain system consistency. A detailed understanding of data dependencies, user lifecycle events, and system interactions within Ark’s architecture is essential.

You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, IT, HR, and school stakeholders to:

  1. Redevelop, document, and implement staff onboarding and offboarding workflows.
  2. Manage a smooth and secure transition.
  3. Maintain service continuity during the rollout.

The HCM and MIS Provisioning Technical Business Analyst will report to the Senior IT and Systems Project Manager. This is a hybrid role based in West London on a fixed-term basis, full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and document provisioning approaches using iTrent and Microsoft Entra.
  2. Ensure new provisioning processes include all necessary data for downstream systems, especially Bromcom.
  3. Work with IT and People teams to align provisioning with Ark’s infrastructure and security standards.
  4. Support decommissioning of legacy systems (Cezanne, Bromcom, Salamander).
  5. Conduct data quality checks and correct data during migration.
  6. Maintain system interface maps and data flow documentation.
  7. Contribute to the Transition to Service document and handover to support teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Subject to an enhanced DBS check
  • Hybrid working: onsite at a school or in the office 2-3 times a week
  • BSc in Business Analysis or equivalent (desirable)
  • Microsoft Certified: and Access Administrator Associate (desirable)
