This will be a dual role, the post holder will coordinate the data for Homerton University Hospital's HCC Surveillance call/recall system setup project and ensure the accurate and complete capture of detailed data from the pilot project.
This role demands experience in managing and manipulating data within various formats such as databases and utilising the Somerset Remote Monitoring System to track patients. Working independently is essential, including taking the initiative and effectively organising and prioritising the workload to meet changing and often tight deadlines.
The candidate must also demonstrate strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and the capability to manage their workload efficiently, particularly under deadline pressure.The second part of the role is Fibroscan Technician. Fibroscans (transient elastography) are a non-invasive investigation which measure liver fibrosis and have increasing utility across viral hepatitis and hepatology services.
This role will be central to the provision of a fibroscan service for patients with liver disease. The post holder will participate as a valued member of the liver service team, assisting with specific duties and taking responsibility for managing a delegated workload within the service under nursing supervision. The post holder will work closely with both the Outpatient and Inpatient team in the delivery of the Fibroscan service at Homerton University Hospital.
