Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work in a residential care home in Burton upon Trent. The role involves following tailored care plans, assisting with personal care tasks, and supporting the emotional and physical wellbeing of residents. Candidates must have a valid Enhanced DBS and experience in similar settings. This is a flexible position with pay at £12.50 per hour, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 15:00.

Qualifications

  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
  • Up-to-date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training.
  • A Referenceable work history.
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting.

Overview

We currently have a flexible position available for an experienced Healthcare Assistant in Burton on Trent. You will be working in a beautifully maintained residential care home that supports up to 27 elderly residents, many of whom are living with age-related conditions such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s. In this role, you will follow tailored care plans to ensure each resident receives the highest standard of support. You will play a key role in promoting both physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the day. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide warm, compassionate care that truly enhances the quality of life for each resident, no matter the circumstance.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be working between Monday to Friday with hours 08:00 to 15:00.

The rate of pay for this role is £12.50 per hour.
