A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join their friendly team. This part-time role involves working closely with patients, performing essential clinical tasks, and supporting the clinical team in a busy GP practice environment. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in primary care, particularly in a GP practice setting.
Due to retirement, we are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated Healthcare Assistant with experience of working within a general practice environment to join our busy and friendly team.
Working 20 hours per week over 4 days, Monday 8-5, Tuesday 8-12, Wednesday 8-12, and Thursday 8-12.
You will work strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols under the direct supervision of GPs and the practice nursing team. You must be competent in phlebotomy and working with patients with long-term conditions. You will support the clinical team in the provision and delivery of quality health and care services.
We are a friendly, forward-thinking, supportive training practice with around 8,600 patients. Our team includes 5 GP partners (3 male, 2 female), 3 practice nurses, 1 mental health practitioner, 1 GPA, in-house physiotherapists, social prescriber, admin, reception team, and a prescription clerk.
