Hart Medical is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) qualified to NVQ Level 3.

Main duties of the job

Qualified to NVQ Level 3, you will be required to perform venepuncture, blood pressure readings, health checks, LTC checks, and general treatment room duties. Ideally, candidates should have previous experience in primary care, but this is not essential. Salary is dependent on experience, and training will be given.

Job responsibilities

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant (HCA) qualified to NVQ Level 3 to join our clinical team. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care within a busy treatment room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform venepuncture (blood taking)
  • Conduct blood pressure readings and general health checks
  • Assist with Long-Term Condition (LTC) reviews
  • Provide support with a range of general treatment room duties
  • Ensure accurate documentation and communication with the wider clinical team

Previous experience in a primary care setting is desirable but not essential.

A caring, professional approach to patient care, with excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, are required.

Training & Development: Full training will be provided. We are committed to developing our team and will support ongoing learning based on individual experience and career goals.

Please note, days of work are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
