Job summary

Chase Medical is recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistant for a GP surgery in Hackney, North East London. This part-time role offers around 25 hours per week with flexible start/finish times.

You will join a small, supportive team with a strong ethos of teamwork, aiming to deliver high-quality patient care in a purpose-built practice. Salary ranges from £13 to £15 per hour, with higher rates for more experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Healthcare Assistant in General Practice preferred.
• Experience in primary care settings.
• Comfort with consent and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform LTC reviews including diabetes and hypertension checks.
• Conduct wound checks and basic patient assessments.
• Deliver B12 and influenza vaccinations.
• Collect urine samples for analysis and screening.

Healthcare Assistant - GP Surgery Experienced

Location: Hackney (North East London)

Hours: Part-Time, ~25 hours per week with room for flexibility

I'm proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our longstanding clients - a well-respected, high achieving practice based in Hackney, seeking a proven Healthcare Assistant, to join them on a permanent basis.

The practice is purpose-built, single site with fantastic facilities and amenities, and boasts a well-established management team. They're a small but mighty team comprised of experienced clinicians, with a strong ethos of teamwork and fostering a supportive, family-like environment.

They're are able to offer around 25 hours per week on a permanent basis, with some flexibility over total hours and start/finish times. Proposed working pattern is Monday/Thursday/Friday, however this isn't set in stone and there's scope to adjust.

A salary between £13 - £15 per hour is on offer, with experience being favoured in targeting the higher rates.

The surgery are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant within General Practice who is ideally confident in the skills such as:

• LTC reviews including diabetes reviews/foot checks and hypertension
• Wound checks
• B12 and influenzas vaccinations
• Urinalysis

SMI health checks and weight management referrals
