Job summary

Tradebe Queenslie is seeking an Operator to join our environmental services team. You will play a key role in the safe handling of clinical and hazardous waste, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation, site permits and health and safety standards.

The role operates on 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am, 4-on 4-off shifts. You will load/unload vehicles, operate processing plant, maintain paperwork, and uphold high housekeeping using 5S.

Qualifications

• Competency in English and Maths.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Experience with basic MS Office tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate processing plant, machinery and cleaning equipment.
• Load and unload vehicles, containers and waste safely and efficiently.
• Process clinical and hazardous waste in line with site requirements.
• Complete waste documentation accurately and operate site weighing systems.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards using 5S principles.
• Monitor equipment performance, report downtime and support improvements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet safety and performance goals.
• Deliver excellent customer service to visitors and drivers.
• Follow site procedures and health & safety regulations.
