Harlow District Council is seeking a Hazard Manager for a 12-month contract in Harlow, with 3–4 days on-site. The role focuses on leading compliance reporting, hazard monitoring, and performance management across the housing portfolio, requiring data-driven oversight of hazards and trends.

The successful candidate will produce dashboards and reports using Power BI, SQL, and Excel, contributing to risk identification and service improvements for the council's housing services.

We're supporting Harlow District Council in the recruitment of a Hazard Manager to lead compliance reporting, hazard monitoring and performance management across its housing portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for a data-driven professional with experience in social housing, compliance, property services, repairs, asset management or building safety.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring housing hazards, damp & mould and compliance performance
• Managing hazard registers and remediation tracking
• Supporting Awaab's Law implementation
• Producing dashboards, KPIs and senior-level reports
• Identifying risks, trends and service improvement opportunities

Experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel or similar reporting tools is highly desirable
