Job description

At Gi Group, we are searching for reliable candidates who stand out from the rest for our Hatchery in Market Rasen. Due to the location being out of town, candidates must have their own transport.

In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of the Hatchery, performing essential duties that support the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sorting chicks efficiently into the required grades and quantities for farm delivery.
2. Assisting in the movement of eggs from storage to incubating and hatching machines.
3. Cleaning equipment after use to maintain standards.
4. Following biosecurity protocols and strict procedures.
5. Observing welfare, health, and safety regulations on site.

The Candidate

• Good level of English and basic numeracy skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a flexible attitude.
• Experience in a relevant field is desirable but not essential due to full training provided.

Additional Details

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (Apply online only)
