Job summary

A leading agricultural firm based in Ipswich is seeking full-time temporary harvest workers for the busy Summer Season. Starting in July through October 2025, responsibilities include driving a company van to farms, processing seeds on-site, and maintaining high health and safety standards. Ideal for those studying agriculture or looking to start a career in the field. Training will be provided, and a full UK driving license is mandatory.

  • No previous experience is required; customer service skills are a plus.

Overview

Based at our Nayland site, we are currently looking to recruit harvest workers to join our business on a full-time temporary basis through our busy Summer Season, starting from July through to October 2025.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Driving to farms following our Mobile Seed Processing Plant in a company van
  • Processing farm saved seed on site
  • Assisting with setting up the processor
  • Checking the quality of bags to be filled
  • Liaising with the operator to maintain good levels of stock
  • Ensuring the site/machinery is clean, tidy and Health and Safety processes are always adhered to
  • Establishing good and safe working practices
  • Always providing a high level of service and customer care
Skills and Experience
  • No previous experience is required; however agricultural, engineering or grain handling experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • A full UK driving license is required for this role.
