A community-focused farm in the West of England seeks a Site Coordinator to lead site maintenance and develop volunteer groups. The ideal candidate will have strong practical and interpersonal skills, with knowledge in animal husbandry, and the ability to manage a small team. This role contributes to a welcoming space dedicated to education and wellbeing programs for residents.
About the role:
The Site Coordinator will lead the maintenance and development of the Hartcliffe City Farm site and establish and maintain corporate and other volunteering groups. This role is suitable for someone with practical and interpersonal skills, with a keen interest in food, farming, and community spaces and programmes.
You will be a practical and driven individual, capable of managing a small team and supporting volunteers. You should have strong organisational skills, a good understanding of health and safety, and be confident in performing maintenance tasks, basic animal husbandry (feeding, cleaning, housing), and supporting others in these areas.
We are a friendly team dedicated to providing a welcoming community space for residents, education, and wellbeing programs. Our 6-acre site includes a playful barn and café, gardens, a farmyard with animals, a flower farm, and various buildings used for community activities. The site is open to the public from 9 am to 4 pm, seven days a week.
