Hardware Test Verification Architect

Location: Hertfordshire

We are currently seeking a Hardware Test Verification Architect to play a key role in shaping the future of hardware testing. Sitting at the early phase of the product life cycle, this role ensures that cutting-edge designs are fit for test by defining structured test strategies and collaborating with designers, manufacturers, and production teams.

This role offers the opportunity to work conceptually, assessing designs for testability, defining Test Equipment Requirements, and collaborating across multiple disciplines to ensure products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and applying systematic test methodologies for both existing and upcoming products.
  • Evaluating hardware designs to ensure they meet testability requirements.
  • Creating diagnostic frameworks and specifying Test Equipment Needs.
  • Providing guidance to manufacturers on design enhancements to improve test efficiency.
  • Collaborating across multiple disciplines to align engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Communicating technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • Technical Degree/equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Experience in Development & Production Test Techniques.
  • Stakeholder management – strong communication skills to convey technical concepts across teams.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to think abstractly and conceptually about testability at the earliest design stages.
