Job description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Technician to join our team and provide installation, maintenance, and support for our solutions in healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hardware installation, troubleshooting, and working in a fast-paced, regulated healthcare environment.

About You :

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in hardware installation, support, or maintenance, ideally in a healthcare or clinical setting.
  2. Experience working with medical equipment and hospital IT infrastructure is a strong plus.
  3. Solid knowledge of hardware components, including computers, servers, printers, monitors, and network devices.
  4. Experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and diagnosing hardware issues.
  5. Familiarity with hospital IT systems and standards (e.g., EMR / EHR systems, PACS, RIS).
  6. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff.
  8. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple installations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role :

  1. Report to the Project Manager and collaborate with other team members to deliver and support our solutions.
  2. Install, configure, and maintain a variety of medical hardware solutions including computers, monitors, diagnostic equipment, servers, and network devices.
  3. Work with hospital staff to ensure proper placement and installation of devices, adhering to hospital safety protocols and regulations.
  4. Set up and configure hardware, workstations, and peripheral devices, ensuring all components are functioning correctly.
  5. Provide on-site troubleshooting for hardware malfunctions or failures, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  6. Provide post-installation support and maintenance services to ensure equipment is operating optimally.
  7. Work with technical teams to diagnose and repair hardware failures and escalate issues to senior staff when necessary.
  8. Maintain detailed records of hardware installations, configurations, and any modifications made to systems.
  9. Provide training and guidance to hospital personnel on how to operate and maintain installed hardware.
