The Role

The Technical Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of parcel locker, KIOSK, ATM systems with integrating IT systems. This role combines a deep understanding of hardware and software systems with the ability to provide high-level technical support and problem-solving for both internal teams and customers. The specialist will work closely with the engineering, operations, and customer support teams to ensure the system’s continuous and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide advanced technical support for complex issues related to parcel locker systems, Kiosk, ATM, including hardware malfunctions, software bugs, network issues, and user access problems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely, working with customers or internal teams to restore system functionality.
  • Diagnose and address hardware failures and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.

System Maintenance & Optimization:

  • Monitor system health, conduct diagnostic tests, and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Configure system settings, user access controls, and network configurations for newly existing systems.
  • Optimize system performance by analyzing data from lockers and backend systems and recommending improvements.

Collaboration with Internal & 3rd Party Teams:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve advanced technical issues.
  • Work closely with operations and customer support teams to provide guidance on system performance, troubleshooting, and customer feedback.
  • Document technical processes and contribute to creating user manuals, training materials, and knowledge bases.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for incident management, troubleshooting, and service levels are met

Security & Compliance:

  • Monitor system logs and security alerts to proactively address any security concerns, ensuring the privacy and integrity of data handled by the lockers.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, system configurations, and support tickets for internal tracking.
  • Generate reports on system performance, hardware health, and issue resolutions for management review.
  • Document best practices, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations to improve operational efficiency

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or systems specialist role, ideally working with automated systems or hardware/software integration like Parcel Locker, ATM & Kiosks.
  • Experience with self-service solutions, kiosks, or parcel locker systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, both remotely and on-site.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and repair (touchscreens, sensors, locks, motors, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Linux, Windows, or Android) used in automated systems.
  • Experience with databases and SQL for backend system interactions.
  • Knowledge of system monitoring tools and diagnostic software.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to identify root causes of complex issues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and quickly resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation for troubleshooting, installation, and user guides.
