Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Hardware / Production Operative in New Milton, Hampshire. You will prepare and assemble hardware kits for production and customer orders, picking screws, brackets and fittings, and packing components for dispatch.

The role involves following works orders, maintaining stock levels, performing quality checks, and collaborating with production and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out quality checks to ensure parts are present and correctly packed.
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe.

7.00am - 3.30pm (3.00pm finish on Fridays)

We are recruiting for a Hardware / Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in New Milton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production team responsible for preparing the hardware and component packs that accompany bespoke cubicle and washroom systems. The role would suit someone who enjoys practical, organised work and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.

The Role

Working within the Hardware Department, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling hardware kits ready for production and customer orders.

Your duties will include:

• Picking screws, brackets, hinges, locks, fittings and other hardware components.
• Assembling complete hardware kits to accompany cubicle and washroom systems.
• Checking kits against works orders to ensure accuracy.
• Packing components ready for dispatch.
• Maintaining stock levels within the hardware department.
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure all parts are present and correctly packed.
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe.
• Working closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure customer orders are completed on time.
