Job summary

Saab UK Ltd. is offering a structured Graduate Engineering programme starting September 2027. You will rotate through four 6-month placements at our Fareham campus, gaining hands-on experience in radar technology and engineering disciplines while supported by mentors and managers.

The programme aims to develop you into a capable hardware engineer with a potential path to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum grade of 2:2.

The Graduate Programme:

By joining the Saab UK's Graduate Engineering programme in September 2027, you’ll have the opportunity to have hands on practical experience with our unique products, while being supported by your managers, mentors and peers. As a Hardware Graduate Engineer in this position, you will gain valuable experience across our Sensor Systems Radar business working on cutting edge 3D Radar technology. This is a structured 2-year programme designed to provide a range of experience and understanding across our core engineering disciplines. You will complete four 6-month rotations at our main Campus in Fareham. Graduates will rotate as a cohort and finish with a final placement and there will be discussions for conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Across the programme you will:

• Build real experience on real systems, gain industry recognised skills while rotating through our core Engineering disciplines.
• Develop strong professional networks through your managers, graduate mentors and others across the business.
• Be involved in continuous learning activities in both technical and soft skill environments.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor’s (or higher) degree in an Engineering discipline with a minimum grade of 2:2.
