Job Description:

Join Rolls-Royce as a Hardware Engineer within the Submarines division, based in Derby, Raynesway. This role offers the opportunity to work across all phases of the product lifecycle, addressing technical challenges in digital, software, programmable hardware, and electronics technologies.

Our submarines business designs, manufactures, supplies, and supports nuclear propulsion products for the Royal Navy. We foster an inclusive, digital-first culture that invests in your continuous learning and career growth.

You will work in our safety-critical hardware development team, using agile SCRUM methods to develop high-integrity products with state-of-the-art tools. Your responsibilities include requirements development, architecture and design, hardware integration, testing, and supplier management.

Qualifications include a degree in Electronics Engineering or related field, experience in digital electronics, programmable logic devices, real-time systems, and safety-critical development standards (e.g., IEC62566). Skills in problem-solving, process adherence, and collaboration are essential.
