Responsibilities:

  • Design, specify, and validate satellite communication products throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Perform detailed circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, and simulation.
  • Lead PCB layout teams, both in-house and third-party.
  • Create manufacturing work-packages for prototypes and production.
  • Support system integration, validation, and qualification processes.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in hardware product design.
  • Experience with satellite or payload equipment is highly desirable.
  • Design of complex, high-speed, multi-layer PCBs (10+ layers).
  • Proficiency with circuit and PCB design tools (e.g., Allegro, ADS, SiWave, HFSS, CST).
  • Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, ASICs, power supplies, and sensors.
  • Additional advantageous skills include high-reliability system design, DC/DC power supplies, FPGA-based ASIC prototyping, environmental standards, and scripting languages (Tcl, Python, Perl).
