Job summary

Oho Group in Guildford is seeking Graduate Hardware Engineers to join a growing technical team. The role offers exposure to FPGA development, PCB design, embedded software and high-speed electronics across hardware and software.

You will work on signal processing, schematic capture, PCB fabrication support and bring prototype PCBs into operation while developing firmware and software.

Qualifications

• A 1st or 2:1 degree or PhD in a numerate/technical discipline.
• Strong academic performance, particularly in Maths and Physics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A self-motivated and independent approach.
• Knowledge or project experience in at least one of: PCB design and layout.
• Embedded C/C++.

We are working with a specialist engineering business that is looking to add talented Graduate Hardware Engineers to its growing technical team.

This is a particularly good opportunity for an engineering graduate who doesn't want to spend their career focused on one narrow area of electronics.

The role provides exposure to FPGA development, PCB design, embedded software and high-speed electronics, with the opportunity to work across both hardware and software.

What you'll be doing

Depending on your background, you could be involved in:

What we're looking for

You’ll ideally have:

• A 1st or 2:1 degree or PhD in a numerate/technical discipline

You don't need experience across all three areas. The key is strong technical fundamentals and the ability to learn.
