Qualifications

  • Experience in designing hardware systems for control panels.
  • Knowledge of IEC BS EN 61439-1 standards.
  • Thorough understanding of electrical regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Design hardware systems primarily focusing on PLCs, MCCs, Drives & Controls.
  • Prepare, review, and check necessary calculations and designs.
  • Work within the nuclear industry on critical projects.

What will you be doing?

• Working within the nuclear industry
• You will be designing hardware systems mainly using proprietary hardware components for control panels,
• Primarily focusing on PLC's, MCCs, Drives & Controls, and switchgear,
• Preparing, reviewing and checking necessary calculations and design.

What will you need?

§SC Clearance or British Citizenship
§Knowledge of designing electrical panels containing PLC's and LV distribution systems,
§Good knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical,
§Thorough understanding of BS7671 IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations,
§Understanding of IEC BS EN 61439-1, Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies,
§Experience of designing electrical cabling and containment systems,
