Your Role:

As a Hardware Design Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our operations:

• Lead day-to-day and strategic planning, effectively managing tasks and resources within the department
• Implement departmental direction to achieve agreed-upon goals, representing the department's interests within the wider R&D organisation
• Review, develop, implement, and manage systems, processes, and procedures within the department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary R&D teams to ensure designs are effectively and efficiently developed and reviewed
• Work with internal departments to resolve issues in a timely manner, utilising schematics, PCB layouts, and internal resources as needed
• Assist relevant departments in fault finding designs to the component level and answer technical customer inquiries
• Ensure designs meet cost, performance, quality, standards, and safety requirements, leading in the review of design and product documentation
• Lead the handover to Product Management, Production, and Customer Service, ensuring seamless transitions
• Provide regular feedback, conduct annual PDRs, motivate, and develop the team to achieve objectives and targets, and manage all people-related matters within the team
