Job Description:

OUTSIDE IR35 Electronics Design Engineering opportunity offering a skilled electronics professional a long-term contract role supporting the development of custom power supplies through analogue circuit design. The company is based in West Birmingham, providing a hands-on role with a market-leading organization, offering flexible working arrangements and remote collaboration with experienced design engineers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing basic analogue circuits
• Assembling and testing PCBs (SMD and through-hole components)
• Testing HV power supply designs
• Interpreting circuit drawings and overseeing the full build process
• Recording manufacturing and testing histories
• Procurement of suppliers and parts for development
• Supporting transformer winding (assistance provided)

Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of experience in electronics, preferably with a relevant degree or equivalent. UK citizenship and the ability to pass basic security checks (such as a DBS) are required.
